Fűteleki major (farmhouse)

The house is situated on a farm in the southern part of village. The farmhouse used to belong to Count Ambrózy and his family, before it was privatised a few decades ago.

The family was popular with the locals because the inhabitants of Perenye made solemn pledge during the cholera epidemic in 1849 that they would make make a pilgrimage every September to the chapel of St Vitus two Sundays after the feast devoted to the Mother of Sorrows. Although it used to be famous but today we can see only ruins in place of the once flourishing farm.
